Meet R;pple - The New Standard in Student Suicide Prevention

Get ahead of student online safety for the upcoming academic year.

Meet R;pple - a groundbreaking digital tool that supports students in crisis where traditional safety measures fall short.

Schools, colleges, and universities are on the front lines of student suicide prevention, yet many still lack the tools and resources needed for proactive intervention.

The results are devastating:

  • Suicide is the second leading cause of death among young people aged 10 to 24.
  • There has been a staggering 62% increase in suicide deaths among 10- to 24-year-olds since 2007.

The links to online harm are real:

  • Almost 3 in 5 young people encounter self-harm and suicide-related content online.
  • Traditional online safety tools miss critical moments to provide life-saving support.

The solution is now available in the US:

About R;pple

R;pple Suicide Prevention Charity was founded by Alice Hendy MBE after she lost her brother Josh to suicide at 21 years old. Josh had been researching over the internet techniques to take his own life. To ensure more help and support is given to individuals searching for harmful content online, Alice set up R;pple, a digital crisis intervention tool designed to present a visual prompt when a person searches for keywords or phrases relating to the topic of self-harm or suicide. With millions of downloads worldwide, R;pple intercepts thousands of harmful online searches, continually saving lives from suicide.
