What do you do as a day job?

I am the Co-Founder of Blue Tea, an agile software development company and Director at ITSL AV, a specialist audio-visual company, both of whom have customers in the UK and globally. My day job is to look after these businesses, their staff and employees. Tech innovation, business results and social impact are at the heart of what I do.

What do you do for R;pple?

I lead the software development for the browser extension and oversee all things IT at the charity. As a trustee, I have a hand in providing strategic direction, making commercial decisions and advising members of the team.

Why is R;pple important to you?

Online harm of all types continues to be a danger to society. The internet is the most significant invention in a generation, the benefits are clear and easy to measure. Unintended social consequences however are more nuanced and difficult to predict. Government and society as a whole are playing catchup. Ripple is leading the way with technical solutions to online harm and advocating for change at the highest levels. I am 100% onboard with this mission.
